On July 17, 2025, in the city of Dilijan, the Deposit Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Armenia hosted a regular meeting of the Expert Group under the Financial Markets Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The meeting focused on harmonizing legislation of EAEU member states in the areas of deposit insurance (guarantee), liquidation of credit institutions, financial recovery, and insolvency (bankruptcy).
Representatives of the Deposit Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic participated via videoconference, including Deputy Executive Director N. M. Baibosunov and Agency staff member S. Zh. Shergaziev.
The meeting opened with welcome remarks by Hermine Arutyunyan, Director of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Armenia, and Narek Kazaryan, Member of the Fund’s Supervisory Board and the Central Bank of Armenia. The session was officially opened by V. V. Kovalev, Head of the Banking Policy Division of the EEC Department of Financial Policy.

- expert conclusions on risk management, stress testing, and ensuring business continuity of deposit insurance systems;
- expert conclusions on process management and internal control systems in deposit insurance organizations;
- agreed proposals on harmonizing EAEU member states’ legislation in the field of deposit insurance systems.
